Which type of ball screw should I choose?

Rotary motion can be converted to linear motion using a ball screw whilst, at the same time, converting torque to thrust – and vice versa. Ball screws can move heavy loads with high speed and accuracy. 

Apart from the train of hardened ball bearings that enable rotational motion, the ball screw consists of two main components: the threaded shaft and the nut, either of which can act as the traversing component.
