Available from specialist distributor Switchtec, Euroclamp has launched two DIN rail enclosures to meet the growing need for simple, customisable, off-the-shelf mounts. Both the Euroclamp CEM-35 and CEM-17 have been created for OEMs, equipment and component manufacturers, and are manufactured with high specifications, including internal PCB supports and guides, ensuring PC boards are held firmly in place to help when mounting PCBs with heavier components such as relays or transformers.
Highly customisable, the 35mm CEM-35 and 17.5mm CEM-17 can be manufactured in many colours, and manufactured to a customer's specification. Holes can be drilled for component access, terminals can be blanked and the body can be printed to a design stipulated by the customer. The CEM-35 is also available in a vertical (CEM-35V), and horizontal (CEM-35H) formats, both of which enable two PCBs to be mounted, further increasing flexibility.
Each CEM enclosure is supplied as three components - the main body of the enclosure, the top, and the bottom. The latter is fitted with two DIN clips, enabling quick and easy installation and removal from the DIN rail. The CEM range is manufactured from a grey, self-extinguishing polyammide6.6 UL94V0 material, and the DIN enclosures are also available in black, green, red and blue for volume orders.
Additional accessories include the Euroclamp ML25 terminal blocks, available in two and three way, and the TP35 blanking or vented insert accessory, enabling easy modification to the enclosure. Furthermore, the wide inner space allows the use and mounting of a high number of electronic components.
