Norgren’s new high-torque rack and pinion cylinder range, the M/162000,
offers rotary output at angles of 90°, 180°, 270° and 360°, which makes
them suitable for duties such as rotary operated valve actuation or as
product turning devices on production lines. Features include magnetic
piston, a choice of male or female output shaft, flush-mounted sensors
and adjustable cushions. seven bore sizes are offered, from 32 to 125mm,
providing torque from 1.2Nm/bar to 51Nm/bar (maximum 510Nm at 10bar).
Standard rotational angle adjustment is +/-5° (though additional angles
can be offered), and the mounting pitch is to standard VDMA dimensions.
