High pressure screw couplings now from Bonomi

A PVS Screw Coupling developed especially for high pressure (72 MPa) applications is now available from Bonomi (UK) Ltd. The PVS Screw Coupling has been developed by DNP Industriale Srl, for whom Bonomi act as a UK distributor.

Manufactured to ISO 14540 standards, the couplings are designed for heavy-duty tasks, their strength is a high working pressure, particularly in static conditions.

The couplings’ sealing in the disconnection phase is mechanical, without gaskets, and therefore adaptable to any type of fluid and temperature. Typical user applications include equipment requiring precise control of high-level power.

The preferred size for high pressure situations is generally ISO 6.3 (1/4), but with the upper ISO 10 (3/8) size, PVS Screw Couplings offers more flow while maintaining the pressure characteristics of ISO 6.3.

The simplicity of these couplings allows connection by hand, even with residual pressure, whilst DNP technology developed over 35 years, guarantees mechanical sealing of the valves – a traditional weak point – without loss of fluid even at high static pressures where traditional gaskets would fail.
