Anders Electronics has introduced a 5.7in QVGA TFT-LCD display (320 x 240 pixel) module, which includes an integral backlight and onboard controller. The latter enables display of up to 262K colours and provides a 16-bit high-speed Intel 80 series bus interface. The amorphous silicon-based TFT display is tested and characterised for use within an extended -20°C to 70°C temperature range, and can achieve response times of15ms, making it suitable for a wide variety of video user interface applications.
With a viewing angle of 135° and typical contrast ratio of 250:1, the display provides high image quality. Brightness is up to 500cd/m2 and an anti-glare coating that further improves readability.
Designed for use with a 3.3V power supply, the display module measures 144.0mm x 104.6mm x 12.8mm. Its external interface is via a 26-pin 0.5mm pitch FPC connector.
