Norgren's new SmartPump is an intelligent vacuum management tool that can
be used to maintain reliable vacuum during a suction lift operation. The
unit will only generate vacuum when it is needed, switching off the
compressed air flow once a preset level is reached and only restoring the
supply if a leakage is detected, resulting in compressed air savings.
This level of control also avoids excessive vacuum build-up, which can
damage delicate objects during handling. SmartPump requires just three
connections: air, vacuum and an electrical supply.
