SEE IT AT DES 2005igus will be unveiling its new 'extreme' polymer bearing material, iglidur Z510, at DES 2005 (NEC, October 4-6). This compound combines constant high operating temperature (260oC) capabilities with high pressure resistance and dimensional stability. All igus bearings feature low wear and corrosion resistance and require no lubrication. Also on display will be examples from the company's linear bearing ranges and cable chains, including a new Firewire connector cable for digital cameras that is suitable for E-Chain installations of up to 10m.
