The signal conditioners and measuring transducers in the MINI Analog Pro series from Phoenix Contact now have ATEX and IECEx approval for zone 2, which represents an extensive update in the international approval program
for explosion protection. The products can now be installed in zone 2 potentially explosive areas worldwide in a housing with the IP54 degree of protection.

The advantages of the highly compact signal conditioners and measuring
transducers with pluggable connection technology remain. In an overall width of only 6.2mm, the modules provide terminal points that are easy to view and reach, allowing significant time savings during installation. Further, current signals can
be measured without interrupting downstream processes. Alongside the classic DIP switch parameterisation, free app and software solutions are available. The app has a special feature: With the help of embedded NFC chips, the modules can
be written without an additional power supply.

Process values are directly integrated into digital communication protocols such as PROFINET via optional snap-on gateways that feature a simple Plug and Play concept and extensive combination options for signal types.
