The DryLin N family of low-profile linear guides from Igus is suitable
for short travel applications involving speeds of 10m/s or higher. The
carriage runs within an anodised rail, and requires no lubrication,
making it suitable for applications that disallow the presence of
potentially contaminating substances. The latest addition the family is
the N40, a 40mm wide guide with a height of just 9.5mm, offering
compatibility with standard aluminium profile machine building systems,
and capable of taking a static load of 700N per carriage in any
direction. The rail is available in lengths of up to 4m, with longer runs
being achieved by joining separate sections.
