Igus Energy Chains Meet New Atex Requirement With Respect Toelectrostatic Discharge

Igus energy chains meet new ATEX requirement with respect to electrostatic discharge Igus' E-Chain material, developed for electrostatic discharge (ESD) applications, has been approved under the new ATEX regulations for use in hazardous areas. Used for the dynamic guidance of cables and hoses with defined bending radii and travel parameters, the ES chains are inherently and permanently conductive, and allow for the controlled discharge of electrostatic charges.
