These popular and tough plastic enclosures for terminal installations suit a wide range of applications including digital and analogue instrumentation, sensors, interfaces, security systems, HVAC, machine building, construction equipment, Smart Factory and Industry 4.0.

IN-BOX offers high levels of impact resistance (IK07/08) and ingress protection (IP 66/67); the sealing gasket is pre-foamed in the
top. Quarter-turn stainless steel lid screws speed up installation and maintenance.

The enclosures can be mounted on a wall, either directly or with brackets (accessory) for external installations. Inside, there are screw pillars for DIN rails, PCBs and mounting plates.

IN-BOX is available as standard in light grey (RAL 7035) in a choice of high-gloss
plastics: ABS (UL 94 HB, IK07) or polycarbonate (UL 94 V-2, IK08). The transparent-lid versions can be specified in either ABS/PC or now PC for higher impact and flammability ratings. The PC enclosures comply with fire safety standard UL 94 5V (better than V-0), although the material has only the classification V-2.

Three versions
of IN-BOX (opaque lid ABS, transparent lid ABS/PC and new transparent lid PC) are available in 16 sizes from 84 x 82 x 55mm to 302 x 232 x 110mm. An opaque lid PC version is available in 10 sizes from 84 x 82 x 55mm to 302 x 232 x 110mm. Prices for the
new models start at £17.

Accessories include pressure equalisation elements, cable grommets, security kits, wall-mounting brackets, internal hinges, mounting plates, DIN rails (TH15, TH35) and self-tapping screws for mounting assemblies inside.

OKW can supply IN-BOX full customised. Services include CNC machining, printing of parts and labels, laser marking, decor foils, EMC shielding, installation and assembly.
