Oriental Motor's new compact, high-performance stepping motor and driver package, the RBK series, comprises a two-phase stepping motor and dc input micro step driver. The micro step function divides the basic step angle of the motor (1.8 degrees/step) by up to 128 without need of a reduction mechanism or other mechanical element. Sixteen different resolutions are available, from 1.8deg/step to 0.0140625deg/step.
Features include vibration suppression function, which reduces the risk of mis-steps due to vibration, and a wide voltage range driver (20-75Vdc; 4.5A/phase). The IP65 protected motor is available in frame sizes 56.4mm and 85mm, and is UL, CSA and CE compliant.
