Thanks to enhanced manufacturing techniques, Abssac has announced a 30% reduction in the price of its MC series motor couplings for 2008. The MC (motor coupling) is available in aluminium and stainless steel as standard, and delivers a reliable zero backlash connection between shafts.
Ideal for electric motor, servomotor drives the single piece construction allows constant velocity and high torsional stiffness even when subject to angular or even parallel shaft misalignment. Fixing the shaft coupling to the shaft is easy, thanks to the unique integral clamping design of set screw attachment. The MC series caters for shaft diameter from 6mm to 30mm and can be supplied with key ways if required.
