Series bearings are suitable for metric shafts of 12 to 50mm diameter,
while the KX Series are for imperial shafts of 1/2 to 2in diameter. These
bearings compensate for misalignment and shaft deflection as the rows of
re-circulating balls run in self-aligning segments in the outer ring. The
segment design ensures that all balls in the ball track are aligned to
the shaft, providing smoother circulation and allowing larger
misalignment angles to be compensated for. A wide range of housings is
offered for these bearings, including units for one or two bearings and
for two or four fixing holes.
