Sealed SKF Explorer spherical roller bearings cut total operational costs

SKF offers the widest range of sealed spherical roller bearings, making it possible to upgrade a broad range of equipment with a sealed bearing. By using sealed spherical roller bearings, you can reduce the need for maintenance, cut lubricant use and decrease the environmental impact.

The lifespan of SKF Explorer spherical roller bearings is reducing total operational costs for engineering companies across industry. Tests conducted in SKF laboratories have shown
that upgraded SKF Explorer spherical roller bearings can last up to twice as long as previous bearings under contaminated or poor lubrication conditions. SKF Explorer
bearings provide higher dynamic load carrying capacity when compared to previous designs, enabling design engineers to ‘downsize’ their applications.

Re-lubrication-free

With integral seals, sealed SKF Explorer
spherical roller bearings are protected against both particle and moisture contamination, enabling them to be re-lubrication-free in most applications. As the bearings do not require
external seals in all but the most aggressive environments, installation is simplified, further reducing downtime and maintenance costs.
