IMO's new C3 range combines the functions of a moulded case circuit
breaker with thermal overload protection for motors in a single compact
unit. The circuit beakers offer a short circuit breaking capacity up to
100kA (without back-up fuses), and come in four frame sizes, covering the
current range from 0.16A to 100A. The accessories include a range of
interconnecting units that allow users to configure combination starters
by combining a manual motor starter and magnetic contactor. Incorporated
into the design is a range of enclosures that allow motor starters to be
used on small, purpose-built machines, giving direct motor control and
protection from external pushbuttons.
