New from ifm electronic, the O5 range of photoelectric sensors offers precise background suppression to 1.4m, adjustable by means of a potentiometer, and as far as 1.8m using an intuitive pushbutton control. The through-beam versions have a range of 20m, and the retro-reflective 7m or more. All units are sealed to IP67 minimum while their EMC rating conforms to the highest generic requirements of EN61000. Flexible mounting options include a connector socket that can be swivelled through 270o, allowing alignment in any direction, plus a variety of adapters and fixtures for retrofitting.
