The TrakRap team is attending the event in partnership with industrial manufacturing company Siemens, and will be in Hall 9, stand D35. It will be offering attendees the opportunity to see a live demonstration of the TrakRap Packaging System, which eliminates the use of heat from the packaging process, reducing energy consumption by as much as 90% and materials usage, including plastic, by as much as 70% compared to shrink film systems. By using an ultra-thin, 100% recyclable green film to stretch wrap items, TrakRap’s packaging solutions deliver the lowest carbon footprint versus any corrugate box or shrink wrap option.

As part of the event’s focus on beverages, TrakRap’s Packaging System will be part of a fully integrated production line showing the entire packaging journey of multipack drink cans, from picking to palletisation.

The TrakRap team will also be demonstrating the use of its packaging machine’s digital twin technology, which runs on Siemens’ MindSphere platform and enables TrakRap’s engineers to monitor the health of the machine and carry out any upgrades remotely, minimising downtime and improving productivity.

Additionally, TrakRap CEO Martin Leeming will give a presentation to attendees about the ways in which digitalisation can be used to accelerate the pace of eco-innovation in the packaging industry and how this has enabled the TrakRap System to help retailers and manufacturers improve their environmental credentials. He will also take part in a series of roundtable events on the topic of environmental efficiency.
