A lesser known, but equally important use for these systems is within the commercial vehicle sector, where robust yet lightweight plastic drag chains provide bespoke vehicle designers the freedom and flexibility needed for
many innovative applications.

the road, will most likely have been recovered by a vehicle where the flatbed slides backwards and down to allow the car to be loaded.

A cable drag chain, often located out of view
underneath the truck bed, protects all the electric cables, essential for the operation of the flatbed, emergency lighting and power winch.

Other common uses for cable drag chains within this sector can be
seen on car transporter vehicles, where they are an essential component in protecting and managing the cables and hydraulic lines which connect the two tiers of the vehicle.
