Huco adds hygienic products to Oldham coupling range
The latest additions to Huco's Oldham coupling range is a series of
stainless steel products for hygienic applications. The units are
available in diameters from 19mm to 50mm with set-screw or clamp fixings,
and there is generous accommodation of misalignment throughout the range.
The central polymer torque disc of Huco's Oldham coupling acts as a
mechanical fuse; in the event of overloading, this disc with fracture to
protect driving and driven equipment from damage. A replacement torque
disc is inexpensive and quickly restores the drive without having to
dismantle the drive system.
