Sustainable floating cities – does the idea float your boat?

In the May issue of DPA, I take a look at Oceanix City, the world’s first sustainable floating city for 10,000 residents.

Details of an interesting Roundtable floated across my desk a few weeks ago. The UN-Habitat, the United Nations agency for human settlements and sustainable urban development, recently convened with a broad range of partners to explore innovative solutions to the threat faced by coastal cities and countries due to rising sea levels.

Can you guess what one of those solutions was? Floating cities.
