The SUNX CX400 photoelectric sensor from Panasonic Electric Works is a compact unit, housed in a standard package measuring 11.2mm (w) x 31mm (h) x 20mm (d) and offering a standard mounting pitch of 25.4mm. Sensing ranges are from 2mm to 15m using diffuse, thru-beam, retro-reflective and triangulation sensing techniques, which allow reliable detection of transparent objects, glossy surfaces, small objects and minute height differences.
