Omron has introduced a DeviceNet option card for its Sysdrive 3G3MV open
loop vector inverter. The drive covers a power range from 0.1 to 7.5kW in
single- and three-phase versions, and features an integral footprint
filter. In addition to vector control, its advanced features include PID
and energy optimisation. The new release allows users to build the drive
into DeviceNet systems incorporating PLC, temperature controllers and
remote I/O.
