Heyco's plastic rivet range has been augmented with the addition of seven
new products, mostly moulded in nylon 6 or 66. Suitable for joining two
or more panels or other materials with an overall thickness from 0.6 to
8.6mm, the new rivets provide a neat finish with a simple assembly method
that requires access to one side only of the panel.
Included in the new selection are 39 additional sizes of standard
P-Series push rivet, while the H-Type rivet introduces a flat head style
for ease of assembly and disassembly. The T-Type, with its knob-shaped
head with non-slip grooves, is suitable for applications requiring a
temporary lock.
PSR-Type rivets feature an unloaded portion that sits proud of the panel
surface, making them suitable for use as bearings for the attachment of
pulleys or cords. Suitable for use at elevated temperatures is the
SN-Type push rivet (nylon 46) and PS-Type polysulfone rivet, which
functions best at continuous working temperatures of 160°C.
