Heyco has extended its range of liquid-tight fittings and cable glands
with the introduction of Heyco-Tite. The new product range offers
improved cable strain relief, thanks to an annular locking finger
arrangement that compresses a rubber gland to form a watertight seal
without causing damage to the cable insulation. Heyco-Tite is available
in standard metric thread, flex-protecting and right-angled versions. The
novel design of the right-angled fitting reduces the number of leak paths
when compared with conventional elbow cable glands that require an O-ring.
Heyco's range of cable management products (some of which are shown
here), include nylon and nickel plated brass cable glands accommodating
cables from 2.0mm to 44.0mm, Herbie Clip hose fasteners featuring a
double row of interlocking teeth for a secure fit, and Multigate grommet
plates for sealing a number of cables through a single panel aperture.
