Buttkereit power ahead with the launch of a new cable entry system

Buttkereit Limited announce its new partnership with Murrplastik, under which the company will act as distributors for the Murrplastik range of cable entry systems throughout the UK.

Murrplastik are recognised for its work in the field of high-tech products manufactured from plastic. The company’s cable management solutions can be found in just about every industry sector including: automotive, rail, medical, mechanical engineering and packaging. Over 100 patent applications bolster the technical innovation inherent in the company’s product range, which delivers a competitive advantage to their customers.

Buttkereit Limited has a history spanning thirty years and supplies a comprehensive range of cable management and machine protection products to all areas of industry from machine tools and automation equipment to the railway and nuclear industry.

This new range of products perfectly complements the portfolio of Cable Handling and Machine Protection products available from Buttkereit. The new products include variants designed specifically for standard cables and pre-assembled cables, offering a neat and simple solution for every application.

For standard cables, the cable entry plate system represents a real alternative to traditional cable gland concepts, as cables can be installed in seconds, delivering significant savings in time during panel assembly and installation. There are several different versions available, manufactured from plastic, aluminium or stainless steel to cater for the broadest range of applications and industries.

A separate part of the range uses a split system to solve the problem of assembling pre-assembled cables into enclosures. For example, cables with moulded plugs and connectors can be easily assembled without the need to remove and re-wire connectors, a process that can often invalidate the original cable warranty. The full range provides a variety of shapes and sizes and the capability to accommodate up to 48 pre-assembled cables with a high packing density in control cabinets and terminal boxes. Ingress protection up to IP69 is also available depending upon the specific product type.

Director Martin Buttkereit commented: “This latest partnership with Murrplastik represents a continuation of our philosophy of developing a comprehensive range of industry leading products, backed by first class technical expertise and customer support. The new cable management product range is a perfect complement to our current portfolio and we look forward to a long term and mutually beneficial partnership with Murrplastik”.
