A supplier of all things linear, HepcoMotion will be unveiling the new
ball screw driven version of its Profile Drive Unit. The PSD120 can be
supplied as a single or multi-axis system and makes use of Hepco's proven
Herculane wheel technology. The integrated linear guide and ball screw
drive (accuracy class 7) are housed in a high-strength aluminium beam
that is protected by a continuous sealing strip.
Also on display will be the new DLS5 belt driven linear transmission
unit, featuring a 50mm wide belt and increased load carrying capacity,
and a new double-acting version of the PDU2, a profile drive unit
featuring Herculane wheels.
Other product developments include the latest generation screw jack
building block system from HepcoMotion-Zimm. Now completely reviewed to
include improved levels of technical innovation, this system is more
compact, yet is capable of carrying higher loads. In addition to a wider
choice of standard screw jack body sizes, the bodies can be specified in
a range of materials and finishes, including aluminium, stainless steel
or plated.
