In addition, design engineers from around the UK can visit the stand, D20, to see a number of exciting demonstrations.

As Matthew Aldridge, Managing Director of igus, explains: “Cost-effective, and quick and easy to implement, the new drylin delta robot is available directly from stock as a kit or delivered pre-assembled ready to install. Its maintenance-free belt drive units, lubrication-free link rods, encoders and stepper motors combine to create a lightweight, low-cost automation solution for automated tasks such as pick and place.”

The other fast assembly product igus will be demonstrating at the show is the honeycomb strain relief system. Extremely flexible, cables can be quickly inserted or replaced by hand – this enables the machine builder to plan the chain and strain relief before the exact cable assignment is known. Compared to cable tie-wraps or other strain relief system, the engineer can save about 80 percent assembly and engineering time.

Throughout the show, members of the igus team will be available on Stand D20 to demonstrate to visitors the benefits and potential applications of its bearings, linear robots, robotic arms, drylin delta robot and cable management systems.
