Telescopic slides aren't just for filing cabinets
The HepcoMotion HTS telescopic ball bearing slide range from Hepco Slide
Systems has wide applications potential, thanks to its quiet, smooth
operation, low friction and high quality construction. In addition to the
more obvious applications in commercial equipment, IT enclosures, and the
like, these slides can also be used in precision measurement systems and
automated assembly machines.
There are five basic types in the HTS range, lightweight and compact
versions to heavy-duty slides capable of carrying loads of up to 280kg.
Across this range, the designer can choose a slide based on its length of
travel, material of construction, suspension and locking mechanism, and
the number of sliding members. HTS slides can withstand twice and four
times the standard static load rating in the fully extended and retracted
positions respectively.
