Miniature linear rail is interchangeable with most ball rails
The new Pacific Mini Rail, which is available in the UK from Hepco Slide
Systems, is presented as an inexpensive though superior alternative to
rolling element monorails that frequently fail due to the ingress of
contaminants. The two-piece system offers high load capacity, high shock
load tolerance and vibration damping. It is maintenance free and will
neither rust nor corrode; it even resists paint and weld spatter.
The self-lubricating Mini Rail system is available in three versions:
precision, compensated precision and commercial. The MR Precision class
features corrosion-resistant, hard-coat anodised rails and carriages,
plus a self-lubricating, high-performance liner, while the MRC
Compensated Precision series provides additional clearance on the
carriage to tolerate misalignment. The Commercial MRE models provide the
best value for less demanding applications, with their clear anodised
coated rails and carriages offering a measure of corrosion resistance.
The MRE is equipped with a Frelon-J self-lubricating liner, which
tolerates washdown. Five sizes are offered (7, 9, 12, 15 and 20mm) in
lengths up to 3,000mm with no butt joints necessary.
