Axil Adhesives (part of Chemique Adhesives and Sealants Ltd) has relaunched its range of high performance technical and structural adhesives. These include a threadlocker and a toughened acrylic/methacrylate that is claimed to provide bond strengths in excess of welded joints, with little or no requirement for surface preparation.
Other products include a UV curing adhesive that cures in as little as three seconds, and a superglue/cyanocrylate which bonds in seconds and can be used in an increasingly wide range of substrates, the rubber toughened grades giving superior impact and weather resistance.
Axil can also provide a full range of application equipment for use with its adhesives, from small installations for precise application to spray booth applications.
