Oriental Motor has introduced the compact, high-performance RBK stepping motor and driver package, which comprises a 2 phase stepping motor and dc input micro step driver. The Micro step function divides the basic step angle of the motor (1.8 deg/step) by up to 128 without the use of a reduction mechanism or other mechanical element. Sixteen different resolutions are available from 1.8deg/step to 0.0140625deg/step.
A vibration suppression function is also included which reduces the risk of missteps due to vibration. This enables the series to operate from a wide range of power sources.
The motor is available in two frame sizes, 56.4mm and 85mm, and is certified to IP65 standard of moisture and dust protection.
