A new anti-cage creep device, the KRE-ACC, is now available from Micromech, the UK distributor for PM bearings. The design features a high-density roller cage with reduced friction resistance and is claimed to boost bearing life and performance by more than 25% even when subjected to accelerations in excess of 30g. The KRE is UHV compatible and is a drop in replacement for the standard version.
