During the event from September 25-27 held in the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, Comau UK (Stand F110) will let visitors see products developed following its HUMANufacturing approach, such as, advanced logistics solutions including the new Agile1500 autonomous mobile robot and a number of Comau series robots demonstrating automation capabilities: all components of the HUMANufacturing approach, which will help companies improve their efficiency while streamlining processes and increasing production quality.

Comau defines HUMANufacturing as its new approach to manufacturing and its own way to Industry 4.0 to meet the challenges and needs of an ever-changing market. In the “factory of the future”, industrial robots are no longer confined within barriers, but can work closely and in total security with man, who plays a central role in the production process. The interaction between operators and machines is made efficient and secure by collaborative robots and new digital technologies. Industrial machines become 'smart', more and more flexible, and easy to use in an integrated and connected manufacturing system.

Comau UK’s virtual reality showcase mirrors its growing use of mainstream multimedia to enhance leading-edge digital manufacturing solutions. As such, the company’s engineering and enabling technologies increasingly support highly individualised, highly efficient production while safeguarding productivity and profitability across the entire manufacturing line.

During the fair, visitors will discover the innovative features of Comau PickAPP, an Android application that allows users to more intuitively control industrial robots in an easier and faster way thereby improving the customer experience. In Comau’s booth, a PickAPP cell with a Racer 3 robot will engage in pick and place operations, moving little chocolates on a work table. In addition, Comau will present its robotic basketball cell and a laser marking cell, in which a Racer-3 robot is engaged in marking bag tags.
