Loctite's new dispenser range for 2000 provides all the functionality of
previous systems but comes with the benefit of smaller price tags. The
new 'integrated' semi-automatic system, for example, applies accurate
doses of ink, oil, paint, low viscosity pastes and greases, plus all
types of adhesives and fluid sealants, yet it costs £679 less than a
previously available system with comparable performance - a near-50%
saving. The new equipment ranges from the simplest hand-operated pump
that attaches to standard bottles, to fully automatic systems with
separate reservoirs and controllers that can synchronise with high-speed
production operations. Loctite says costs are at least 25% down across
the range, compared with previous, comparable equipment.
