Maple 6 - the result of a partnership between the Canadian company,
Waterloo Maple and Oxford based Numerical Algorithms Group - is a tightly
integrated suite of symbolic and numerical solvers that allows users to
perform end-to-end technical computations for projects normally requiring
separate software packages or libraries. Interesting features include
seamless connectivity to Microsoft Excel 2000 and an ability to export to
rich text format, both of which allow the co-ordination and sharing of
data between Maple 6 and popular general productivity tools. Available in
the UK from Adept Scientific, Maple 6 will run under Windows, Unix,
Macintosh and Linux.
