No Priming Required For These Flexible Adhesive-Sealants

Thanks to a clever bit of chemistry involving modified silane polymers,
Loctite's new range of flexible adhesive sealants has extended adhesive
capability, increased resistance to UV radiation and weathering, while
being solvent, isocyanate and silicone free.

The products produce permanently resilient, vibration-damping,
shock-absorbing joints that feature high after-load recovery. They will
bond and seal bare, coated and painted metals, many rigid plastics, wood
and glass, and are claimed to be particularly effective in bonding sheet
metal panels.

There are seven products in the range, offering low, medium and high
modulus grades, all of which 'skin over' in ten to 20 minutes under
normal ambient conditions. They are supplied in 310ml cartridges, which
fit standard manual or pneumatically operated dispensing guns.
