Innovative motion control solutions for aerospace applications

The aerospace industry in the UK provides many challenging applications for motion control products. Many applications are “behind the scenes” in supporting work in the telecommunications industry, earth observation and scientific satellite applications.

Whilst the basic motion control solution requirement is fairly universal – they move things “in and out, up
and down, round and round” to coin a phrase often used at LG Motion – a specific application may
require a high degree of customisation and expert design work to meet the exacting standard of the customer requirement.

A couple of case studies from LG Motion illustrate how the broad scope of engineering and design expertise coupled
with a wide range of products provided innovative solutions for the applications.
