Voice coil actuators added to motion product range
Heason Technologies has added rotary and linear voice coil actuators to
its portfolio of motion control products. Manufactured by BEI Kimco in
the USA, these two-wire, non-commutated, direct-drive devices offer
hysteresis- and cog-free operation, as well as low electrical and
mechanical time constants and high output power-to-weight (and volume)
ratios. Dynamic, agile, accurate and repeatable, the linear actuators
offer forces from just one gram to over 900kg and stroke lengths to
100mm, while the rotary units provide torque from 5mNm to 10Nm over 90°.
