250-year old dragons brought back to life
3D Systems have installed 72 3D printed dragons at The Great Pagoda at Kew – completing the Historic Royal Palaces (HRP) restoration of this UNESCO World Heritage site. Bringing the dragons back to life required a unique combination of research and reverse engineering by the company’s On Demand Manufacturing team to enable rapid digital production of the parts.
