In addition to being distributed free of charge to the BPMA’s full database of named individuals, copies will be sent to embassies and consulates around the world. This year will see an additional distribution to pump users via selected trade press, ensuring that even more people are aware of the BPMA, its members and the important work it carries out on their behalf.

Established in 1941, the British Pump Manufacturers' Association (BPMA) is a ‘not for profit’ trade association representing the interests of UK and Irish suppliers of liquid pumps and pumping equipment.

Its remit is to influence the pump sector business environment in the interests of members' competitiveness and sustainability and to increase sector awareness by providing technical support and pump technology training to members, operators and purchasers of pumping equipment.

Its principle objectives are:

• To be the effective voice of the pump industry
• To satisfy the needs of the members
• To encourage active participation of the members
• To maximise the membership of the Association

BPMA members account for approximately 85 percent of the £1 billion plus UK market for pumps, which contributes to the UK pump industry being a net exporter.

Membership of the BPMA is open to any company large, medium or small, involved in liquid pumping equipment, including key suppliers. The BPMA itself is a member of the European Association of Pump Manufacturers (Europump).
