Festo has launched a tubing customisation service that enables automation OEMs to improve the branding of their machinery. Customers can now order pneumatic tubing that is pre-printed with their choice of message - such as their company name, or service contact details. Festo is also now offering the option of custom tubing colours, enabling OEMs to improve the aesthetics of their machines, or to utilise colour-coded tubing to facilitate service and maintenance.
The customisation service is available for any length of pneumatic tubing, from 3000 metres upwards. Festo offers an extensive range of tubing, with diameters from 3 to 16 mm and a wide choice of extrusion materials, including very cost effective type PEN polyethylene, extremely flexible PUN-E polyurethane, and highly chemical resistant PFAN perfluoralkoxyalkan. To enable customers to select the right tubing for their application, selection software is available in the download area of Festo’s website at www.festo.com/gb, and a tubing and fittings poster book is available on request.
