Harting has introduced a range of interface products to meet the
requirements of the decentralised and standardised installation
technology (DESINA) standard - intended to bring standardisation and
decentralisation into the electrical installation of machinery and
equipment. The Han-Brid hybrid electrical/optical connector is a typical
DESINA compatible product that provides interference-free signal
transmission as well as being easy to install and maintain. Other
products in the range include the Han Q8/O motor interface connector,
which reduces the wiring burden in decentralised motor control
applications.
