Customised rotary switches

EAO has introduced a new service for customers who need special, customised rotary switches; understanding the importance of delivering products that meet the specific needs of an application.

The feel of a rotary switch can be modified according to use, whether it’s for a radio, audio/video equipment, medical equipment or rugged specialist vehicles.

For a functionally rich interface, rotary switches can be supplied with isolated positions, push or pull-to-enter mechanisms, or spring-return momentary positions.

Shafts can be customised in length and profile, with or without flats, cut-outs or counterbores to secure the knob.

Any type of termination is possible - solder lugs, PCB pin mounting or fully wired into a specified connector. Grayhill switches offer water resistance to 10 metres, shock, vibrations and humidity resistance.

The switches are suitable for use in 28V DC to 115V AC applications, from signal level up to 5 Amps.
