Maple 6 'add-ons' available for free download
Adept Scientific is offering free downloads from its web site of the
PowerTools range of 'add-ons' for the Maple 6 mathematical software
package. These add-ons, eight of which are currently available for
download, are described as 'applications-oriented', and have been
developed to help Maple users configure the software for their own
analysis requirements.
Among the new PowerTools are DynaFlex, which contains routines for the
automatic generation of equations in symbolic form for 3D flexible
multi-body systems, and Syrup, a package that generates and solves node
equations for electric circuits by finding the currents through each
element and the voltages at each node. Research PowerTools include a
programming package for solving non-linear optimisation problems, and a
statistics supplement to Maple 6 providing over 130 Maple functions for
exploring concepts in probability and statistics.
