The Optidew cooled mirror dew point meter offered by Michell Instruments can now be used for a wide variety of applications due to its increased cable length of up to 250 metres. In many industrial applications it is a critical requirement that the sensor unit can be installed remotely to the electronic of the hygrometer.
The Optidew hygrometer uses the fundamental cooled mirror measurement technique that is amongst the most established and widely recognised dew point temperature device. A precision PT100 is used to measure this temperature with a standard accuracy of 0.2°C dew point and the resultant humidity level is displayed on the instrument front panel in a variety of engineering units.
The durable Optidew features a rugged IP66 housing capable of withstanding the most demanding industrial conditions, whilst retaining the performance and sensitivity of a high-level laboratory reference hygrometer. Michell’s Optidew is available in a bench-top or a versatile wall mountable version.
The complete measurement range goes from –50°C to +110 °C dew point and means Optidew can accommodate most needs and makes it suitable for use in the toughest of industrial conditions.
