Lead-free plain bearings meet new safety directive for cars and light
trucks
Launched at the Hanover Fair this month, Glacier Garlock Bearings' new DP
series of lead-free, PTFE-based metal-polymer plain bearings comply with
the European Parliament's ELV directive concerning the elimination of
hazardous materials in the construction of passenger cars and light
trucks. The bearings are supplied in three types for dry or lubricated
applications, and chemically aggressive environments.
