Small PLCs offer 12V dc operation for greater mobility
New additions to GE Fanuc Automation's VersaMax micro and nano PLC ranges
offer 12V dc operation, allowing their installation into battery or
solar-powered, mobile control applications. The nano PLC offers six 12V
dc inputs and four relay outputs. An RS232 port supports SNP, Modbus RTU
Slave as well as serial read and write, while the micro comes in three
models offering a 23-point CPU with analogue I/O, a 14-point CPU, and a
28-point CPU.
Each VersaMax micro model uses up to four expansion units and a total of
140 I/O, and each contains an RS232 port. The 23-point and 28-point PLCs
also include RS485 serial communications for master/slave and multi-drop
applications.
