MiniTec UK Ltd provide new dugouts at Basingstoke Town's Camrose football ground

It may not be Wembley Stadium but at its Camrose football ground, Basingstoke Town FC has just installed possibly the best quality dugouts in the Blue Square South league. In fact, the sleek aluminium extruded structures might even compete with the big boys of the Premiership, offering comfort, shelter and a place to refine Manager Francis Vines’ match day tactics or to help physios, kit men and substitutes prepare for the onslaught.
The new dugouts have been provided by BTFC sponsor, MiniTec UK Limited who normally supplies its modular ‘Profile System’ as a complete machine building and framing system for demanding manufacturing, inspection and test systems to customers across all areas of industry and research.
“Profile System is so adaptable that we thought that providing Basingstoke Town FC’s dugouts would be an interesting challenge” says Gary Livingstone, MiniTec’s Managing Director and Basingstoke Town supporter. Gary adds “Our rapid assembly machine framing system has also been used extensively for architectural applications and offers just the kind of durability and toughness that a football dugout requires “.
MiniTec design and build specialist machine frames, workbenches, guarding systems and even complete production lines - quickly and at substantially less cost than other methods.
The sturdy new dugouts have been built to comply with FA standards and are colour matched to BTFC’s blue and gold strip. It has been rumoured that they may even offer a home to the Club’s mascot Stokie the Dragon when all the fans go home and he is left to look after The Camrose ground.
