Unitemp has introduced a new range of economic power saving walk-in type temperature and humidity chambers. This quality range - designated the H series - is manufactured by the ESPEC corporation and consists of six models that can be integrated with eight test chambers. They have been developed primarily for the reliability testing of electronic / electrical components and equipment, as well as automotive parts and selected processes.
The chambers meet the energy conservation challenge by using an electronic expansion valve for adjusting refrigerant flow with a newly developed control system, giving reduced power consumption. A maximum power saving of 68% is achieved in temperature operation and 47% in temperature / humidity operation. The temperature variance across the range is -40ºC to +80ºC, with a humidity range of 10% to 95% rh.
